BIOGRAPHY 

 

I am a self-taught photographer from Greenwich Village, New York.  I started taking photos in the 1960’s, but it wasn’t until 1991 that I decided to pursue showing my work by taking my portfolio to New York City galleries for consideration.  As a result my work has been in many juried group and solo shows worldwide, as noted below.  My photographs are also in corporate and private collections, and I have photographed and designed many music vinyl and CD jackets and discs.  I like working in both black & white and color, shooting by available light only.  My most recent work is digital and I revel in its infinite flexibility to manipulate my images by computer instead of the confines of a darkroom.
